Extension Ministries

Our goal is to launch 2 more chapters (national) and 2 more bases (international) by 2012.

A major part of DRIME’s long-term vision is the multiplication of the ministry - that DRIME would not only do regular ministry on the streets of Vancouver, but on street corners all over the world. We pray the message of Jesus would be truly inescapable – that every weekend one might be able to see teams presenting Jesus in Vancouver, but also in Toronto, Seattle, Nairobi, or London - wherever the Lord desires DRIME to be.

DRIME BRAZIL

Part of our vision has already become a reality, with the formation of the first international DRIME base in Gramado, Brazil. Carissa Brey and Lisa Beiderwieden, 2 of DRIME’s most seasoned members, spent just over five months training Brazilian leaders, equipping them to lead a DRIME team of their own. In October 2003, after weeks of selecting members, teaching about the ministry, and training dramas, DRIME Brazil hit the streets for the first time.

DRIME KENYA

The birth of DRIME Kenya took place in 2006! Lillian Tarvudd, Mark Wall & Shelley Weglo - three of DRIME's members who have served in a variety of leadership roles - served in Nairobi, Kenya for 6 months. In partnership with AIM (Adventures In Missions), Lillian, Mark & Shelley spent their time praying for & recruiting DRIME's Kenyan leaders, training them in the dramas and equipping them to lead DRIME Kenya! They came back to Canada in December 06, leaving behind an active, mission-fulfilling DRIME base run fully by committed Kenyan young people! Pray for DRIME Kenya and the leaders -  Eva, Kish, Jahazi and Andrew!

Pray for DRIME Brazil and DRIME Kenya as they minister actively through evangelism and workshops. Pray for wisdom, growth and fruit in ministry.
