DRIME Training DVD

Executive Summary
DRIME’s vision is to see the streets resound with singing as Jesus becomes inescapable! The DRIME ministry seeks to multiply itself so that more people will begin to share the Gospel creatively. Therefore, an integral part of our mission is to empower others with the vision and resources to make this possible.

Until recently, DRIME leaders have relied on workshops and field training to prepare ministries, youth groups and mission organizations in the art of evangelistic drama. As these various teams experience the effectiveness of drama on city streets and in diverse cultures, there is a clamouring demand for DRIME training around the world.

The spread of the training, however, is limited by the cost of travel, location of churches and accessibility to DRIME leaders. With training DVDs and manuals, DRIME can break this barrier of distance and equip others for ministry in a cost effective, accessible way.

Project Goals

  • To equip over 200 ministry teams and leaders with a unique, effective way to share the gospel
  • To offer training to local churches and ministries for a fraction of the workshop costs
  • To establish DRIME as a leader in drama evangelism training in North America and the world
  • To meet the increasing need of local churches and ministries for a practical ministry tool they can use locally and in overseas missions

DRIME Training Conferences and Workshops

Executive Summary
We have loved having a presence on the streets of downtown Vancouver for the last eleven years; nonetheless, we do not want our impact to end there. Our heart is to see the ministry multiply – whether that is on the streets of Calgary, Toronto, London, or Nairobi. Our vision is to see Jesus become inescapable – to see Him represented on every street corner across this country and around the world! Through our workshop training conferences, we have the ability to be a small part of His bigger Kingdom work!

Our desire is to provide 2 annual training conferences in British Columbia and Alberta. These two conferences have been successful in the past and we look forward to seeing further growth in registration so we can equip more teams to use this tool in their local community. In addition, we plan on providing 5 additional training workshops that serve as either introductory training or as follow-up for those interested in reviewing the materials.

This year we will be venturing into a new opportunity in California to assess the need and desire for this kind of ministry.

Project Goals

  • Aid churches, mission organizations, schools and other Christian ministries in their outreach efforts by training them in creative drama evangelism
  • Multiply the DRIME ministry, creating long-term impact, by empowering others to start their own drama ministries to reach their local communities
  • Provide solid, practical evangelism training to youth groups and short-term mission teams
  • Host 2 comprehensive training conferences in British Columbia and Alberta
  • Host 5 training workshops in the coming year. These include 3 workshops in BC, 1 in Alberta, and 1 inaugural workshop in California
  • Establish and nurture any interest in California in order to qualify its potential as a possible US extension base

DRIME Leaders Training and Resources

Executive Summary
Each year DRIME mobilizes 3-4 teams to do ministry in the Lower Mainland area. Each team is led by two individuals who are responsible for drama instruction, evangelism training, team-building and community, and accountability. These people hold a significant responsibility in the ministry and our desire is to see each of them grow and develop in their skills and abilities. We believe that their experience in DRIME will not only prepare them for future opportunities in ministry and other fields of work; we also know that the successful multiplication of this ministry is largely dependant on passionate and qualified leaders.

Because of this we want to invest into their lives by offering relevant leadership training and resources for their development.

Project Goals

  • To see 6-8 team leaders developed in their leadership skills and abilities
  • To provide workshop and seminar opportunities to help them grow in areas of interest (such as evangelism, public speaking, drama, etc.)
  • To provide them with resource materials relevant to their leadership experience (such as books and CDs)
  • To host 2 yearly retreats to facilitate refreshment, challenge, and reflection as they learn and grow
  • To provide them with a small honorarium for their hard work over the year

DRIME Ministry Needs and Preparation

Executive Summary
As we prepare teams for ministry we want to empower our team with the practical tools they will need to be effective. We want to prepare them through evangelism training, retreat opportunities throughout the year, prayer journals, proper street attire (DRIME t-shirts and props), follow-up materials, felt needs items, and member manuals. Our desire is for each team to focus primarily on active street ministry. By providing them with these practical tools we free them up for an intense year of evangelism – the true heart of the ministry!

Project Goals

  • To see 3-4 teams empowered for consistent and effective street drama ministry
  • To provide DRIME members with the best evangelism training possible in order to empower them to engage in spiritual conversations on the streets
  • To allow members the opportunity to take time away to rejuvenate and re-energize so that they will be even more effective in ministry
  • To ensure we have adequate follow-up materials for anyone interested in knowing more about Jesus or how to get plugged into the local church
  • To give our teams an opportunity to meet the physical needs of those we meet trough our felt needs program

New DRIME Website

Executive Summary
DRIME has recently seen tremendous growth in ministry opportunity. As a result we have successfully pursued non-profit status and therefore have gained independence as an organization. As a part of our new start we desire to bring a full change to our current website that will reflect this moment in our history. In addition to this strategic change, our needs also demand a change. We seek to sell resource materials and include highly interactive interfaces as a part of this new web strategy. Our desire is to be a cutting edge ministry where we are able to meet current market needs.

Project Goals

  • To establish a current, more user friendly website
  • Increase DRIME’s web presence
  • To establish an on-line store where churches and ministry partners are able to easily access needed resource
